To mark Engineers Week last week, the 5th and 6th year physics classes travelled, with Miss McCarthy and Miss Horgan, to Stryker in Cork. The students received a comprehensive tour of the manufacturing floor, listened to an informative presentation and took part in various engineering activities run by the engineers and scientists at Stryker. The students were very impressed by what they saw and left encouraged to maybe return someday
